I was a labor and delivery nurse at Kennedy when Dr Stefenelli was a resident We really had a good group back then. It was like a family. My best memory was when he and Rosemary announced they were having a baby. It was a joy to work with George in those early days. He had years of knowledge from life and brought that wisdom to the table. He was kind to every woman he cared for. The patients loved him and so did we. .

Rosemary and family, Sandy and I are saddened by George’s passing. Over the past 5-6 years George and I bonded and gravitated to each other at social and professional gatherings. He was a wonderful, caring, family oriented, educationally oriented physician, husband and father. He lived for you, Rosemary, and was always talking about his patients, career, family and you. Getting to know George through our meetings at board exams was a highlight of my board examiner experience. He was so excited to retire and move closer to his children and to spend time with you. He bragged about your teaching skills and your dynamic approach to educating your students. Although we never practiced in the same geographic region, it was easy to see the commitment he had for the Osteopathic profession, his patients and colleagues. May his memory be a blessing.
