Opal H. Adams, 90 of Independence, MO passed away September 11, 2003 at Jefferson Health Care, Lee�s Summit, MO. Services 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2003 at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home with visitation from 5-7 p.m. Sunday evening prior to the services. Graveside services 11:00 am Monday, September 15, 2003 at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Odyssey Hospice Health Care, 9229 Ward Parkway, Ste. 350 Kansas City, MO 64114. Mrs. Adams was born August 1, 1913 in Camden, CO the daughter of Fred A. and Della V. Palmer Green. She was married to Herman O. Adams and he preceded her in death. She is survived by a nephew, Gerald Hukill, Independence, MO, two nieces, Judy Reynolds, and Joyce Stallman, Independence, MO a sister, Vernie Crawford, Independence, MO, a cousin, Dona Russell, Independence, MO, and many great nieces and nephews.
