Theola Jean Adams, 87, passed away on May 13, 2015, in Olathe, KS.
Family will greet friends from 4-6:00pm Sunday, May 17, at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. A graveside service will be on Monday, May 18, at 10am, at Raymore Cemetery, south of 58 Hwy on East Lucy Webb Rd. in Raymore, MO.
Theola was born on August 13, 1927, in St. Louis, MO, to Carl and Mabel (Bailey) McCullough. She later moved to the Kansas City area where she met and married Robert Edward Ogden. To this union were born three daughters. He passed away in 1988, and Theola later married Thomas Melvin Adams, Jr. During her years, she enjoyed raising her children and her cats and dogs, cooking, puzzles, and was a force to be reckoned with at Bingo!
Theola is survived by two daughters: Sindra (Bob) Muehlberger and Janet Hall; grandchildren: Carolyn Delaney, Steven Humphrey, Cavin Hall, Jr., Todd Conine; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Imo Whiteside; a host of other family members and friends; and one beloved dog, Coco.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands; daughter, Linda Heald and brother, Carl McCullough, Jr.
