Robert Alderson

Robert Lee “Bob” Alderson, 63, of Sugar Creek, MO passed away Friday, September 30, 2011. Cremation with private burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Bob was born November 21, 1947 in Independence, MO to James V. and Wilma L. (Boosinger) Alderson. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and received two bronze medal service stars. Bob retired from the USDA as a computer programmer. He has lived in Thailand for the last seven years. Mr. Alderson was an avid gambler, and enjoyed fishing, and watching sports in his spare time. Bob is survived by his wife Nom Alderson, daughters Lori Bowen and husband Mark, Bobbie Logan and husband David; grandchildren Bianca, Brittney, Baylee, Jaden, Tate; mother Wilma Alderson; siblings Jim Alderson and wife Cheryl, Cheryl Robertson and husband Bill, Bill Alderson and wife Patti, Gary Alderson and wife Joy; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father James Alderson.
