E. Jeanette Allen, born in Princeton Kansas on October 31, 1927, died October 1, 2015, with family at her side holding her. She is now joining her husband, Leon C. Allen, who passed away April 30, 2000.
She leaves behind 3 children, Silvia Oyler, Ashley Allen, Dan Allen, 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was a registered nurse for Traveling Nurses Association for most of her adult life. She and Leon were actively involved in the Community of Christ Church. She was loved by her family and all who knew her.
The family will greet friends in a celebration of her life on Saturday, October 24th, from 2:00-4:00pm, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 East 39th St, Independence, MO, 64055.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to Community Services League, Independence Chapter, 404 N. Noland Road, Independence MO.
