William Alley

William W. “Bill” Alley, Jr., 59 of Independence passed away Sun. Aug. 31, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Fri. Sep 5, 2008 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Indep. MO 64055. Burial in Md. Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 7:30 pm Thursday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to Kansas City Hospice. Mr. Alley was born on Feb 4, 1949 to William and Nadine (Sample) Alley in Doniphan, MO. He had worked in the maintenance department of the City of Independence for the past eight years. He was a loving and caring person who enjoyed going to the Lake, fishing and dancing. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. Bill is survived by two sons, Richie Alley and Billy Alley of Oregon. A brother, Roxie “Rocky” Alley and wife Theresa, two sisters, Laura Longenecker and husband Rick of Independence and Ramona Alley of Independence, MO. An uncle, Raymond Sample and wife Greta of Independence and by four nieces, two nephews and many friends.
