Dorothy Sue Allin, 93, Independence, MO passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at The Groves Rosewood Health Center in Independence, MO.
Dorothy Sue was born January 18, 1920 in Independence, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents Isaac Wesley Frisbey and Mary Etta Adkins Frisbey; two brothers, Arthur W. Frisbey and Jesse W. Frisbey; four sisters, Esther Naomi Frisbey, Bessie E. Handley, Mary Jane Walker and Mildred P. Frisbey. Dorothy Sue was married to Claude Alvin Allin for 72 years. Claude Alvin Allin passed away on May 12, 2011.
She is survived by four children and spouses, Jerry A. Allin and Bonnie, Independence, Larry D. Allin and Rena, Lake Lotawana, David L. Allin and Sharon, Independence, and Michael E. Allin, Independence; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
During her life, Dorothy Sue was an avid doll collector and operated the Covered Wagon Flea Market with her husband.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Mound Grove Cemetery; 1818 N. River, Independence, MO.
