Jeanne Alston

Jeanne Roberta (McInerney) Alston, 86, of Independence, MO, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned, with a memorial service to be held 2:00 pm Saturday, April 3, 2010, at First Christian Church of Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cancer Action, Tabitha’s Closet at the church, or an animal welfare organization of the donor’s choice. She is survived by: 3 daughters, Leslie Van Biber and husband Jim, Jennifer Alston and Kelly J. Alston Fent, all of Independence, MO; 4 grandchildren, Pamela Parish, Martha Parish, James T. Van Biber III and Robert A. Van Biber; and 2 great-grandchildren, Blair and Colette Van Biber.
