Michael Alan Alsup

Michael Alan Alsup, 49 of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the KC Hospice House. Cremation is planned with a graveside inurnment to be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Woodlawn Cemetery. A reception will follow at the family’s house. Donations may be made in his name to the Great Plains SPCA Independence Campus. Michael was born April 6, 1966 in Independence, Mo to Paul and Nancy (Larson) Alsup and has been a lifelong resident graduating from Truman High School in 1984. He was an avid animal lover and had donated his time to animal rescue. He is survived by; a son, Aaron Alsup of Independence, MO; his parents, Paul and Nancy Alsup of Independence, MO; 3 brothers including a twin brother, James Alsup of California, Larry Alsup of Edgerton, KS and Steve Alsup of Blue Springs, MO and a granddaughter, Aubry Marie Alsup.
