Robert  M. Altheiede

Robert Michael Altheide, 86, of Sibley, MO passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Robert proudly served in the United States Army for twenty years until his retirement. He also worked for Universal Construction for ten years and later for Fort Osage High School for ten years. Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Betty (Rinacke) Altheide; as well as his daughters, Debra and Kathy. Survivors include daughters, Maria Altheide of the home; Kay Smith and husband Walter of Sibley, MO; brother, Alan Altheide and wife Martha of El Paso, TX; eight grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. He will be missed by all. A visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19th at Speaks Buckner Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Buckner Chapel.
