Arnett Louise Barrow Anderson, age 95, of Jefferson City, Mo, formerly of Kansas City, MO and Bolingbrook, IL passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, Mo. She was born September 30, 1913 in Kansas City, MO. Arnett graduated from Northeast High School. She was a former employee of National Bella Hess in North Kansas City, MO. Arnett was an avid genealogist and a member of the Heart of America Genealogical Society. She is a past president of James School PTA. Arnett served as a Cub Scout Den Leader in Pack 132, sponsored by White Avenue Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and miniature golf. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and provided service in many capacities. Arnett was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Everett Albert Anderson, a daughter Kay Louise Anderson, who died in infancy and a brother Harry Barrow. She is survived by her brother Albert Barrow, two sons, Larry Anderson and Ronald Anderson, one daughter, Carol Abbott and one stepdaughter, Evelyn Peck, eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4618 Henwick Lane, Jefferson City, MO 65109, on Saturday, January 24th, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. The funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 10:15 AM. Interment is at Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133.
