Dora Elizabeth Anderson

Dora Elizabeth Lyford Anderson, 100, of Independence, MO, passed away, Monday, February 23, 2004 at St. Joseph Health Center. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Dora was born August 19, 1903 in Helena, AR to William Tappen and Dora (Baker) Lyford. She was a teacher and member of the Episcopal Church. Survivors include; a daughter, Mary Waller Nesselrode of Independence, MO; 2 granddaughters, Mary Waller Bell of Kansas City, MO and Jami Waller Bell of Rye, NY; 5 great grandchildren, her very dear friends, Jerry and Pearl Rollie, Kim Johnson and Casandra Rollie, the caring staff of Carondalet Manor and Dr. Douglas Knox.
