William (Bim) Anderson, III, 58, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at his home after a lengthy battle with lung cancer.
Bim was born February 27, 1951, the son of William F. and Opal M. Anderson, Jr. He graduated from Truman High School. Bim owned and operated Anderson Heating and Cooling in Independence.
Bim was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Gayle Denise Anderson.
Survivors include his mother, Opal M. Anderson; sister, Lisa Harris; niece, Missy Harris Fulton; and two nephews, Ben and Zack Harris.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 4041 S. Lynn Ct. Drive, Suite 300, Independence, MO 64055.
