Pauline Anderton

Pauline Irene Anderton, 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2010 while residing at Bethany Healthplex Nursing Home in Lakewood, CO.

She was formerly of Independence, MO. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pauline was born in Independence, MO on December 21, 1915 and lived in Missouri most of her life. She married William Lee Boten on March 20, 1935, they later divorced. She then married Edmund Joseph Anderton on July 27, 1946 and he preceded her in death. She was a loving mother of Paula Ann Maddera; and proud grandmother of grandson Chris Maddera and his wife Diana; granddaughter Cheri Blum; great grandmother of Adam Ley, Hanna and Jason Maddera, and Philip Blum all of Colorado. She was also preceded in death by her step children Judith Anderton and Dorothy Friedrich. Additional survivors include her step children, Kenneth Anderton, of Independence, MO; and Alice Heman and her husband Melvin of Levasy, MO, plus their children and grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Boten Cooper of Blue Springs, MO, Betty Boswell of Parsons, KS and many loving nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by family and friends.
