James Andrews

James Lee Andrews, 75, of Hermitage, MO passed away July 13, 2008. Visitation from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the chapel, with burial to follow at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens, Independence, MO. James was born March 8, 1933 in West Plains, Arkansas to Idus and Mary (Peeler) Andrews. After 42 years, James retired from Fairbanks Morris, where he had worked as a pump assembler. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty (Helm) Andrews in 1998. He is survived by his second wife, Joyce (Allen) Andrews; one son, Reverend Jim Andrews; granddaughter, Jenice Andrews; one sister, Margie Matthews; and many other loving family members. He will be dearly missed.
