Anna Jean Walker

Anna Jean Walker was born on September 6th, 1954, to the late Cleotis King Anthony and Addie B Hill in Kansas City Kansas. Anna was raised by her Stepfather James W. L Hill.

Anna Walker Graduated from B W Sheppard school in 1973, from there she started her work history, at Blue Valley Industries, for more than 30 years. After Anna injury, she briefly worked at the Trinnity North Workshop, before settling in with her permanent place of employment at DPI Industries, until her retirement.

Anna’s main job at DPI was heading up the Fire Committee, which she would kindly remind anyone daily who cared to listen.

Anna Walker, accepted Christ at a young tender age, and was a Member of Providence Missionary Baptist church under the late Rev Lewis A McGhee, and later under Rev Mark McGhee, here she remained until her passing.

Anna loved to sing, she was the unofficial Choir member.

Anna Walker was preceded in death by Her stepfather James W. L Hill, Mother Addie B Hill of Kansas City MO, Two brothers Earl Shell, and Kenneth Anthonty of Kansas City, MO.

Anna Walker departed this Life on April 27, 2026, at her home in Independence MO. She leaves to cherish her two sisters: Miss Rose Walker-Anderson, Greenville MS, Miss Jameszetta Ohajazu, Independence MO. Three brothers: Mr. Jonothan P. Walker (Chere) Raytown City, MO, Mr. Gregory Hill, Independence MO, and Mr. Amanuel Hill, Independence MO, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
