Ashlee Renee Jenkins

Ashlee Renee Jenkins January 31, 1986 – June 8, 2025 

With heavy hearts and endless love, we share the passing of Ashlee Renee Jenkins, affectionately known as "Ash," who left us too soon on Sunday, June 8, 2025, in Independence, Missouri. She was 39 years old. 

Born in Kansas City, Missouri, to James Crain and Lori Jenkins, Ashlee was a devoted daughter and, above all, a loving mother to her three children: Kylee Dove, Brodie Dove, and Dominic Deck. 

Being a mother was Ashlee’s greatest joy and purpose. She poured her heart into caring for her children, nurturing them with boundless love and fierce devotion. Her youngest son, Dominic, brought endless light to her days, while she looked on with pride as Kylee and Brodie blossomed into strong, hardworking young adults. She was grateful beyond words to witness Kylee’s graduation—a shining moment she cherished deeply. 

Ashlee’s vibrant spirit and warm laughter brightened every room. Even in difficult times, her radiant personality lifted those around her, turning tears into smiles with her kindness and humor. Her light will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew her. 

A celebration of Ashlee’s beautiful life will be held on Wednesday, June 18th , 2025 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Carlson Speaks Chapel, located at 1501 W Lexington Ave, Independence, MO 64052. 

Ashlee leaves behind her beloved children, her parents, and countless friends who carry her love, laughter, and strength with them always.
