Robert Glen Badder, 76, of Independence, MO, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007 at his home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Summit Grove Congregation of the Community of Christ Church, 411 S. Lee�s Summit Rd., Independence, MO. Robert was born June 12, 1930 in Independence, MO to Ammon C. and Lorena C. (Lime) Badder. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict where he was a photo repairman on airplanes. Mr. Badder graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1948, and Finley Engineering College in 1974 with a Bachelor�s degree in Engineering. Bob was known for his care and support of family and friends. Mr. Badder is survived by his wife of 57 years, Reta (Kennon) Badder of the home; daughters Debra Smith and husband James, Glenda Gooch and husband Karl; four grandchildren that he was very proud of, Logan Smith, Garrett Smith and wife Rachel, Chad Gooch, Kara Cavanaugh and husband Andy; one great-granddaughter Elle Cavanaugh; brother Charles "Bud� Badder, sisters Maxine Hattey, Edith Keehler. Bob was preceded in death by his brother Ward Badder.
