Arlene Bailey

Arlene Bailey, 60 of Buckner, MO passed away Monday, April 23, 2007 at the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, NE. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the chapel in Buckner. Arlene was born May 30, 1946 in Kansas City, MO to Maurice C. and Eula Mae (Doss) Denton. Arlene has been a lifelong area resident graduating from Fort Osage High School in 1964 and has lived in Buckner for the past 30 years. She was a wife and mother who enjoyed antiques, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Lee Bailey of the home, her children, Michael Helmig of Sugar Creek, William O. Craig, III, Julie Denton and Amy Black all of Buckner, MO and William Lee Bailey, Jr. of Leavenworth, KS; a sister, Shirley Moore of Independence, MO; 3 brothers, James Denton of Independence, MO, Roger Denton and Chester Denton both of Buckner, MO; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William S. Denton and Morris C. Denton. .
