Ida Mae Baker, 96, died peacefully Friday, December 17, 2010, in St. Charles, MO. Ida lived most of her life in Independence, MO. Worked 33 years with husband as operators of Baker’s Flying Service at K.C, downtown Municipal Airport. They retired to Ft. Myers, FL and enjoyed 20 some years of sunshine and golf. Ida moved to St. Charles, MO in 2003 because of health and to be near her daughter. She moved into Breeze Park, a senior community where she spent 8 years. Survivors include daughter, Martha (Paul) Murawski of St. Charles, Mo. Daughter in law Ellen Baker of Raytown, Mo., Grandson, Mark Baker of Raytown, Mo. Grandchildren Deborah (Brad) Winner, St. Peters, Mo. And Steven (Lisa) Murawski, Troy, Mo. Triplet great-grandsons Michael, Colby and Tyler Winner and great granddaughter, Danielle Murawski. She was preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Wilbert N. Baker (1998), son, James N. Baker (1997) and grandson, Christopher N. Baker (2008).Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time Tuesday at the chapel.
