Loretta Baldwin

Loretta Sue (Shenkel) Baldwin, 73, of Buckner, MO, found the peace she was looking for on March 5, 2011 after a long illness. Services will be 10 am, Wed., March 9, 2011 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO; interment at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6- 8 pm, Tuesday at the chapel.
Loretta was born on Oct 19, 1937 to Jim and Ina (Higgins) Shenkel in Blue Springs, MO. She was a loving wife, mother and sister who enjoyed being outdoors, especially working in her garden. She was united in marriage to her husband of thirty-eight years, Roy Baldwin, on Feb. 5, 1973 in Miami, OK.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Ina Shenkel. She is survived by her husband, Roy Baldwin of Buckner, MO; son, Kevin Lee Baldwin of Buckner, MO; two sisters, Vicki Paxton of Cameron, MO and Carol Bodnhammer of Blue Springs, MO; two brothers, Dick Shenkel of Lee’s Summit, MO and Kenny Shenkel of St. Louis, MO; sister-in-law Jeanne Baldwin and boyfriend Dale Martin of the home;
