Mrs. Paulette Marguerite Banks, 91, longtime resident of the Kansas City, MO area died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 29, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Paulette was born in Paris, France on November 16, 1919, the daughter of Eugene and Alice Bajoue. As the war bride of Chester W. Banks, she moved to Marshall, MO and, later, to Kansas City where “Poodle” and “Popo” operated ADCO Litho Plate.
Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and five brothers.
Paulette's survivors include two daughters, Jenny (Mike) Huke of KCMO and Terry Cunningham of Lee's Summit with three grandchildren Elizabeth (Matthew), Tony (Gwen) and Johnathan (Johnna) and four great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank family and friends for their support.
