Rose (Wiley) McKinley Barham, 63, passed away November 18, 2010 at Centerpoint Medical Center after a courageous battle with COPD, lung, heart and fibromyalgia.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Oak Ridge Memory Garden. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Monday at the funeral home. Rose was born July 19, 1947 to Delmer C and Edith June (Cummings) Wiley in Trenton, MO.
Rose was in the first graduating class of Truman High School in 1965. She was a member of the Hidden Valley Christian Union Church of Independence. Rose worked and retired after 20 years from the City of Independence doing various jobs.
Rose was preceded in death by her father Delmer C. Wiley; brother, John W. Wiley; and husband Ron Garner.
Rose is survived by her mother, Edith June Wiley; sister, Greta Ferguson and her husband Steve of Independence; 5 nieces, 1 nephew, 11 great nieces and nephews and 5 great great nieces and nephews. Also her constant pride and joy companion, Sidney her cat. Many aunts, uncles and cousins she was proud of.
