Henrietta June Barttrum

June Barttrum, 77, of Independence, MO passed away February 23, 2011 at her home. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, at Berea Cemetery, Ketterman, MO. June was born December 2, 1933 in Walker, MO to Henry and Lola (McMillin) Belcher. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Elmer William “Bill” Barttrum; her grandson, David Wayne Barttrum; and two sisters, Jessie Olive and Mae Neal. She is survived by her two sons, William Wesley Barttrum and wife Julia, David Worthington Barttrum; three grandchildren, Lisa Barttrum, Kristi Bergin and husband Knute, Wesley Barttrum and wife Katie; three great grandchildren, Adam, Kelly and Taylor, with a fourth great grandchild, James Gabriel, on the way; as well as two sisters, Nancy Zering and Kathleen Berry.
