Anthony Bauhaus Sr

Anthony C. “Tony” Bauhaus, Sr., 64, of Independence, MO passed away, Friday, January 28, 2011 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2820 South Highway 291, Independence, MO 64055. Donations may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association 10580 Barkley St #400 Overland Park, KS 66212. Tony was born January 22, 1947 in Ft. Smith, AR to Paul and Nadine (Shields) Bauhaus. He attended Skiatook High School class of 1965. He married Linda K. Harper on May 8, 1965. He retired in 2000 from a life-long career as a Meat Cutter. He is survived by: his wife, Linda K. Bauhaus; his children, Tonya Gilley and her husband Rick, Anthony “Tony” Bauhaus, Jr. and his wife Carolyn and Alicia McGarity; his grandchildren, Amity Stout, Emily Gilley, Anthony “Tony” Bauhaus, III, Weston Skillett, Robert Schossow, Corwyn Gentry and Donna Bauhaus; his great grandchildren, Kaeden Stout, Eden Gilley and Addison Stout; his siblings, Nancy Stamps, James Bauhaus, Barbara Zarrella, Michael Bauhaus, Teresa Clement and Joseph Bauhaus and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Bauhaus, Charles Bauhaus and Richard Bauhaus.
