Ernalea Bayless

Ernalea Bayless, 76, of Independence, MO peacefully passed away Friday, July 25, 2008 surrounded by her family. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008 in the chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Ernalea was born April 16, 1932 in Macks Creek, MO to Francis Eugene and Dorothy Geraldine (Boyd) Sheridan. She loved her family dearly and her grandchildren meant the world to her. Ernalea was loved by all that knew her. Mrs. Bayless is survived by her son Frank L. Hicks and wife Mary; daughter Brenda Cavanaugh and husband Jeff; step-daughters Janet Bayless, Cindy Bayless, and Marjorie Goodman; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; by her sister Naomi Grazier; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and her extended family at Knuckleheads. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Cecil Bayless on April 7, 2008; and by her sisters Nancy Willis, Julia Edison.
