Sherman G. Beachner

Sherman G. Beachner, 71, of Independence, Mo passed away August 4, 2006 at the Independence Regional Health Center. Services 10:00 am Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm Monday evening at the chapel. Sherman was born April 26, 1935 in South Mound, Kansas to Norbert M. Sr. and Josephine E. (Tye) Beachner. He retired as Vice-president from Mobil-Teria after 29 years of service. He received the greatest pleasure from helping others. Left to morn his loss is his wife of 50 years Dora, of the home, children; Linda York (Steve) of Indep., Terry Moats (Phyllis) of IL, Jerry Beachner of Indep., Cindy Hefter (Al) of Indep., and Doug Beachner, also of Indep.. Other survivors include brothers, James (Kay) Beachner, Charles Beachner, 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Sherman is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joe Beachner, and Norbert Beachner Jr.
