Judith Rathbun Beard

Judith Rathbun Beard, 79, of Independence, MO passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on August 1, 2020. A visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Born June 18, 1941 in Kansas City, Judy was a graduate of Van Horn High School 1959. Judy is preceded in death by her Parents, Arthur P. Rathbun and Vina H. Rathbun, and her brothers, Joseph A. Rathbun and Robert R. Rathbun. She is survived by her children, Julie Beard and James Beard and wife Kerri; and two grandchildren, James and Kalli Beard.
