Gerard William Beaulieu, 88, of Kansas City, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Carondelet Manor.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM., on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at St. Catherine’s of Siena Parish, 4101 E. 105th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64137, with burial to follow in the Park Cemetery, Carthage, MO. The family will greet friends from 9:00 – 10:00 AM., on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Red Cross.
Gerard was born on December 9, 1924, Lowell, MA, the son of Pierre and Yvonne (Mattee) Beaulieu.
He was a United States Army veteran serving his country for many years until his honorable discharge in 1946. He was a member of St. Catherine’s Siena Parish and St. Sabina Parish. He participated in the Sounds of Joy Choir and Amateur Radio with the American Red Cross.
He is survived by two sons, Paul Beaulieu and his wife Georgia, Lamar; and Walter Beaulieu and his wife Faye, Bedford, TX; one daughter Theresa Beaulieu, Kansas City; six grandchildren; five and one anticipated great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Eugenie Beaulieu.
