Floyd E. Beck, 80, Blue Springs, MO died June 13, 2008. Committal services with Military Honors will take place at 1:30 pm, Wed. June 18, 2008, at Leavenworth National Cemetery; cremation.
Floyd was born July 2, 1927 in Kansas City, KS. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #2 for over 50 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II and attended the Napoleon United Methodist Church. Floyd enjoyed fishing, hunting turkey and deer and playing cards.
Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Beck; son Scott Beck and brother Charles Richard Beck. He is survived by son Benjamin Beck and wife Robin, Kansas City, MO; daughters Sharon Roberts; Becky McMullen and husband Doug, all of Oak Grove, MO; sisters Betty Goode; Charlene Marquis, both of Kansas City, KS; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
