Mary R. Beck

Mary R. Beck, 84, Independence, MO, passed away Feb. 19, 2007. Services will be 2 pm, Friday, Feb. 23, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO; interment at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley, MO. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
Known to those closest to her as Missy B., she was a beautiful person. Missy B. was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, who was fun spirited and had a place in her heart for everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brothers and two infant daughters, Carol Ann and Mary Ann Beck. She is survived by her husband, Joseph E. Beck, of the home; her children, Jerry and Bonnie Beck of Arkansas; Ronald and Vernita Beck; Pamela Beck; Michael and Sharon Beck, all of Independence, MO; and Mark Beck of the home; her grandchildren, Scott and Annette Beck, Independence; Macy Beck, Garden City, KS; Traci and Brian Wowak, Independence; Carmen and Jonathan Brock, Blue Springs, MO; Jeff Beck; Grant Beck and a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
