David Beckwith

David E. Beckwith, 61, Indep, MO passed away Mon, June 14, 2010 at his home. A Celebration of David’s life will be at 11:00 AM Sat, June 19, 2010 at New Life Family Ministries; 1089 Italian Way, Excelsior Springs, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00, at the church. Inurnment will be private at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Memorial are suggested to New Life Family Ministries.

David was born January 31, 1949 in Waterloo, IA the son of Henry Milton (H.M) and Edith (Bussler) Beckwith. He was employed with Massey Ferguson for 20 years as a Sales Manager, and later worked for Liberty Terrace Care Center. David was a faithful member of New Life Family Ministries, where he enjoyed sharing his musical talent on the trumpet and guitar.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Daniel Gene Beckwith; his second wife Barbara Gail (Holland) Beckwith in 2007 and his father.

Survivors include his sons; Brian D. Beckwith, Chris D. Beckwith and his wife Olimpia, and Kevin P. Beckwith all of the Kansas City area; grandchildren, Nathan, Zackary, Bradley and Miley Beckwith; mother, Edith Beckwith; and sister, Jean Beckwith, both of Mitchellville, IA.
