Edward Louis "Ed" Bedsworth

Edward Louis (Ed) Bedsworth (82), passed peacefully in his home surrounded by family on October 19th, 2022. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on May 29, 1940 and a long time resident of Independence, Missouri. Survivors include wife of 59 years, LaDonna (Dailey) Bedsworth, daughter and son-in-law Tosha L. Grotenhuis and Erik Grotenhuis, son Dereck R. Bedsworth, and only granddaughter Anna Marie Bedsworth, who gave him much joy in his last years, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ed served his county for 4 years in the US Navy and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He enjoyed traveling, horse racing, sports of all kinds, as well as just hanging out with family and friends.

Celebration of Life services will be held at Christ United Methodist Church TBD.
