Lucille Bellamy

Lucille Bellamy, 81 of Blue Springs. MO passed away, Friday, March 14, 2008 at the North Kansas City Hospital. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Lucille was born November 7, 1926 in Odessa, MO to George and Della (Whited) Boxley. She was a wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and was artistic and enjoyed working with her hands. She was a member of the Cole Camp Baptist Church. She was married to Emmett J. “EJ” Woods and later divorced. She then married William T. Bellamy who preceded her in death. Survivors include; 2 sons, Delbert D. Woods and his wife Marlene of Stover, MO and John F. Woods and his wife Peggy of Blue Springs, MO; a son in law, Roger E. Bailey of Chillicothe, MO; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter,. Patricia Ann Bailey in 1982.
