David Leon Bennett

David Bennett, 62, of Independence, MO, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015. Visitation will be Friday, April 10, 2015, from 10-11am at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Memorial Service will follow at 11am at the chapel. David was born on March 15,1953 in Lamar, MO to Charles and Maria (Coy) Bennett. David retired in 2007 as a lineman. Over the years he had played in several bands, and loved playing the guitar. He enjoyed fishing, guns, and spending time at the lake. Survivors include; daughter Neina Bennett; grandsons Jason Roither and Tristin Cummings; brother Dennis Bennett, and sister Kathryn Bennett.
