Kendall Berg

Kendall Joseph Berg, 92, of Raytown, MO passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Research Hospital. Private Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities. Kendall was born December 24, 1916 in Conception Junction, MO to Joseph and Frances (Kendall) Berg, the second of five children. Mr. Berg proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired after 30 years of dedicated service as an engineer for Puritan-Bennett Corp. Kendall was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church for 58 years and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid volunteer for numerous charitable organizations. Mr. Berg was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his daughters Judy Weatherholt and husband Leo, Jan Blackwell; grandchildren Philip Weatherholt, Patrick Weatherholt, Kevin Higdon; eight great-grandchildren; and by his sister Frances Berg. Kendall was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Hildred Berg; and by his grandson Bryan Higdon both in 2003.
