Tasha Chashell (Beason) Berls, 35 of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1001 E. 52nd St., Kansas City, MO 64110 with cremation to follow. There will be a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday evening followed by visitation until 8:30 p.m. at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ava Berls education fund. Tasha was born April 30, 1976 in Fairfax, MO to David and Cherie (Millsap) Beason. She graduated high school from Tarkio High School in 1994 and received her bachelors form Northwest Missouri State and later her Masters from Graceland College. She worked as a teacher for the past 15 years and currently was the 1st grade teacher at Blackburn Elementary in Independence, MO. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her friends and most of all spending time with her daughter. She had attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and St., Mark’s Catholic Church. She is survived by; her husband, Michael Berls and a daughter, Ava Berls of the home; her mother Cherie Beason of Independence, MO; her father Dave Beason and wife Tracy of Hopkins, MO; a sister, Tifani Clements and husband Stuart of Pickering, MO; a niece Eliza Clements and a grandmother, Lucile Beason of Maryville, MO.
