Olive Berry

Olive “June” Berry, 78 of Independence, Mo passed away, Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Rehabilitation Center of Independence. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 20, 2011 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052. Burial will follow in Mound Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the chapel. June was born June 4, 1932 in Delta, CO to W. Everett and Olive Grace (Striley) Berry. She had worked as a self-employed beautician for a number of years. She was a member of the East Alton Community of Christ. She is survived by; 2 sons, Wallace Edwin Harris, Jr. and his wife Julita of St. Joseph, MO and P. Barry Harris and his wife Robin of Independence, MO; a daughter, Olive Virginia Harris of Independence, MO; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
