Judy Bertram, 54, of Independence, Missouri went home to be with the Lord after a long ten year battle with cancer. Although the battle was rough on her body, Judy never complained about her pain and greeted everyone with a smile. Judy was employed by the Independence School District as a receptionist at Caleb Bingham Middle School. Despite cancer treatments, she never missed a day and continued to work up to her passing. She was an inspiration to everyone she met. Born with a beautiful smile and twinkling eyes, Judy made several friends during her short life. As a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri, Judy was deemed the unofficial photographer for the church. She enjoyed photographing baptisms, special events, and church special events. She loved preparing disks of photographs and sharing. Judy loved her family, her friends and her savior Jesus Christ. Judy was truly loved and will be missed. Judy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Gary Phillip Bertram; two sons, Joshua Andrew Bertram, and wife Christa of New Bloomfield, Missouri and Benjamin Alexander Bertram of Independence, Missouri; three grandchildren, Nehemiah, Ezra and Eliot; father and mother, Woodson Ray Wilkerson and Linda Ann (Kidd) Wilkerson of Munfordville, Kentucky; and brother, David Ray Wilkerson of Hyde Park, Utah.
