Frances Beshoner

Frances Beshoner, 93, of Kansas City, MO passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, 9020 E. 51st Terr., Kansas City, MO 64133. The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m., followed by visitation prior to Mass. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Frances was born January 13, 1917 in Murray, KY to Warner and Virginia (Wilson) Stephens. She was united in marriage on January 20, 1939 to Lawrence Beshoner and shared 71 years of happiness together. Mrs. Beshoner worked for Lake City Ammunition, Ben Franklin and JC Penny. She was an active and faithful member of St. Bernadette’s Parish. Mrs. Beshoner is survived by her sons Lawrence Beshoner and wife Jan, Jerry Beshoner and wife Alice; grandchildren Joe Beshoner, Jill Svoboda and husband Brian, Father Seraphim Beshoner, Benjamin Beshoner and wife Stephanie; great-grandchildren Jaeden, Cori, Maddie, Cole, Luke, Sophia, Natalie; brother Warner Stephens and wife Betty. Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband Lawrence Beshoner; son Ricky Beshoner; sisters Vera Johnson, Mary Bewley; brothers Parvin and Pete Stephens.
