Betty Kathryn Acton Rippeto
Age 91, was welcomed to her heavenly home on March 23, 2024
Betty was born on December 12, 1932, in McBaine, MO. She was the 12th child of Greenberry and Sarah Acton
She married Lloyd Ancel Rippeto on July 10, 1948, and their children were Daniel (Dan) Lloyd Rippeto, Diana May Rippeto Willams, Charlotte Kay Rippeto Scott, Joseph Dean Rippeto
Betty was a loving wife and homemaker who was the best mother/grandmother of all. Most of her life work was dedicated to Swope Park Community Church and Hope Campground. She delighted in caring for infants and children of all ages. Her hobbies were sewing, baking, reading, music and passing out love.
Betty is survived by: Daniel Lloyd Rippeto, Diana and Randy Williams, Charlotte and Raymond Scott, Dean and Laura Rippeto. Grandchildren: Michael Scott, Melissa Williams, Carmen Simpson, Nathaniel Scott, Emily Rippeto, Christopher Rippeto. 10 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great Grandchildren and many loving friends and extended family.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Lloyd Ancel Rippeto and her daughter in-law Chris Hershfelt, her oldest granddaughter Nancy Renee Backues and her 7 brothers and 9 sisters.
A visitation will be held on March 28, 2024. Visitation starting at 1:00 PM followed by services at 2:00 PM at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 East 39th St Independence, MO 64055. She will be laid to rest at Swan Lake Cemetery Blue Springs, MO.
