Rodney D. Beverstock

Rodney D. Beverstock, 58, of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at his home after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Memorial visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Cremation. Interment will take place in the Missouri State Veteran�s Cemetery in Higginsville on Friday, June 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Rodney was born June 20, 1946 in Ipswich, England to Donald and Renee (Branch) Beverstock. He retired from Associated Wholesale Grocers in 1993 after 29 years of service. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Rod enjoyed building, remodeling and fishing in his spare time. Mr. Beverstock is survived by his wife of 27 years, Karen (Parker) Beverstock; daughter Tracy and husband Jim Beebe of Blue Springs, MO, Jami and husband Dan Copeland of Ballard, MO, two sons Jeff and Shawn Beverstock; sister and brother-in-law Toni and Danny George of Independence, MO. He was a doting Papa to Shane and Dalton Beebe and Harley Lynn, Sage Riley, and Aubrey Renee Copeland.
