Blanch Bickley, 93, of Independence, MO passed away on November 7, 2006 at the Carmel Hills Living Center. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. The service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Blanch was a long-time member of the Fairmount Christian Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher for their Jr. Department, and was also a member of their Choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Bickley; and one daughter, Mary Ellen Holland. Blanch is survived by her son, Tom Bickley; one son-in-law, Cecil Holland; grandchildren, Patricia Holland-Keator, Barbara Beckwith, Linda Allen and Tom Bickley Jr.; 6 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
