Blake Hunter Hirsch

August 25, 2012 — June 26, 2025

Raytown

Our beloved son, Blake Hunter Hirsch, was chosen by God to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven on June 26, 2025.

We were not ready to lose him, but know he is in a better place.

Enjoy the little things; One day you may look back and realize . . .

They were the big things.

Our Blake was unexpectedly taken from us on Thursday, June 26, 2025, after a tragic accident. He was twelve years old and was one of three siblings.

Blake was born on August 25, 2012, to Robert and Wanda Hirsch in Kansas City, Missouri, and lived with his family in Raytown, Missouri. Blake’s memory will forever be cherished by all, but especially by his parents, his sister, Brooke Hirsch, his brother, Bobby Hirsch, his grandmothers, Zella Forsythe and Diane Hirsch, as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Blake completed his sixth-grade year at Raytown Central Middle School, where he had many friends. He is remembered as being funny, adventurous, fun-loving, daring, fearless, spirited, and a brave young soul. He was confident in his strengths, expressive in his joys and his sorrows, affectionate and playful, and always helpful to his mother.

Blake was energetic, fun-loving, humorous, ornery, and expressive in his likes and dislikes. He was often playful and will be remembered as a boy who enjoyed having the wind in his face as he raced on his dirt bike. He enjoyed having a job this summer, mowing lawns, and was excited about earning his own money, giving him a sense of independence.

Blake enjoyed playing football and boxing, as well as swimming, especially near the beach, attending church with his family, and recently was enthusiastically reading his Bible.
