Wilma D. Blann Allen

Wilma D. Blann Allen, 85 of Richmond, formerly of Buckner passed away, Saturday evening at the Ray County Memorial Hospital. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial will be in the Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Wilma was born June 13, 1921 in Fair Grove, MO to Arthur and Lena (Highfill) Jackson. She was a homemaker and had worked at TG&Y. She enjoyed writing poetry and was a member of a poetry club. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Raytown. She was married to Clyde E. Blann, he passed away in 1978. She later married Grant Allen and they were divorced. Survivors include; 3 sons, Robert Blann of Cowgill, MO, David Blann of Sibley, MO and Paul Blann of Dallas, TX; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
