Judy Blatt

Judy M. Blatt, 61, of Blue Springs, MO passed away, Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs, MO. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Gardens in Grain Valley, MO. The family will greet friends from 6 to 9:00 p.m., Monday evening at the chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul c/o St. John Lalande Catholic Church 805 NW R.D. Mize Rd. Blue Springs, MO 64015. Judy was born September 18, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Richard M. and Marie (Grinzzinger) Hohensinner and has been a lifelong area resident. Judy had worked for over 25 years in customer service for Wal-Mart in Blue Springs. She enjoyed crafts, reading and fishing. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and St. Robert Belamine Catholic Church in Blue Springs. MO. She was married to Gary Blatt on June 6, 1970; he survives of the home. Other survivors include; a daughter, Michelle L. Blatt of Blue Springs, MO; 2 sons, Erick M. Blatt and his wife Becky and Paul J. Blatt all of Blue Springs, MO; her mother, Marie Hohensinner of Independence, MO; 4 brothers, Richard Hohensinner of Independence, MO, Greg Hohensinner of Leavenworth, KS, David Hohensinner of Kansas City, MO and Phil Hohensinner of Independence, MO; 2 sisters, Linda Hohensinner of Lake Lotawana, MO and Johanna Trombino of Kansas City, MO and 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Alison Blatt.
