She served for many years packing and delivering Meals on Wheels in Warren and Independence, she also volunteered with CPRS. She and Fred moved to Independence in 1984 to spend more time with their daughter, Kay’s family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and found great joy in visiting with her family and friends. In the words of our family, small but mighty, quite but always heard, loving, patient, sweet, humble, kind, generous, thoughtful, observant, amazing, wonderful and a patient woman. She always made everyone feel like they were important. She lived her life by example, never really having to say much. We all knew what she stood for and believed. She loved us no mater what and felt the same for anyone who came into her life.
