Yvonne Helen Boos, 79, of Independence, MO passed away, Sunday, July 13, 2014 at St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church 3736 S. Lee’s Summit Rd., Independence, MO 64055. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 15, 2014 with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Avenue, Independence, MO 64052. Yvonne was born April 23, 1935 in Topeka, KS to Claire S. and Leona C. (Sappenfield) Warner. She spent her early life in Topeka graduating from Topeka High School in 1953 and later attended Washburn University. She had worked as a telemarketer for a number of years and was co-owner of Ridgewood Dental Lab with her husband. She enjoyed sewing and making calendars. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and the Red Hat Society. Survivors include; 4 children, Debbie Weber and husband Larry and Michael Boos all of Independence, MO, Cathy Franklin and husband Vincent of Blue Springs, MO and Joseph Boos and wife Nikki of Independence, MO; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony F. Boos in 1975 and her parents.
