Robert Boydston

Robert J. “Bob” Boydston, 76, Lee’s Summit, MO died Oct. 20, 2010. Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO; interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Monday with a Rosary to follow at 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Crossroads Hospice, 9237 Ward Parkway, Ste. 300, K.C., MO 64114.
Bob was born March 15, 1934 in Kansas City, MO. He worked for fifty-three years at Acme Radiator & Air Conditioning before retiring in 2005. He was a member of Our Lady of the Presentation Parrish and the Knights of Columbus. Bob loved his family especially his grandchildren, traveling, and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks.
Bob was preceded in death by wives Patricia Boydston in 1982 and Gloria Boydston in 1987. He is survived by sons Robert Boydston and wife Sharon, Gladstone, MO; Kevin Boydston and wife Julie, Independence, MO; daughter Barbara Duvall and husband Hunter, Blue Springs, MO; son Jeff Boydston and wife Lorri, Lake Tapawingo, MO; daughter Lori Barry and husband Rick, Plano, TX; grandchildren Lindsay, T.J., Jason, Geoffrey, Gabrielle, Lauren, Evan; great-grandsons Riley Joe, Brody and Cooper.
