Telford Boyer, 78, of Odessa, MO passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 at Centerpoint Medical Center. A memorial service will be at 7:30 PM, Thursday, September 4 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 421 SW 19th, Blue Springs. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Building Society at All Saints Lutheran Church.
Ted was born May 4, 1930 in Hooversville, PA to Charles and Margaret (Schrock) Boyer. He worked as a manager for a wholesale supply company in Maryland prior to being transferred to Missouri in 1979. He was an active member of All Saints Lutheran Church, serving as a past member of the Board of Directors and a 50 year Mason member.
Telford is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan Boyer; children: Telford Boyer Jr. and wife Amy, Michael Boyer, Jody Sotiropoulos and husband Thomas, Karen Smith, and Ron Boyer and wife Sherry; 16 grandchildren; and sister, Donna Lee.
